It's Tigard Bowl time !!

 As promised, here are the details for The 2009 Tigard Bowl sponsored by The Outback Steakhouse.    The rumor is true! .. Outback will be cookin' on site - better'd show up hungry!

 ~ Served ~ at Tiger Stadium at Tigard High School from 6pm to 9pm Saturday August 29^th

 ~ See ~ The 2009 Tigard Tigers Football teams in action ~ Freshman play 6-7pm, Junior Varsity 7-8pm, and Varsity 8-9pm

 ~ Tickets are $25 per meal and directly support the Tigard Football players and program ~

  This year, with all the budget cuts, Tigard Football needs your support more than ever.   In addition to our everyday program needs, proceeds from this years Tigard Bowl will be targeted to help support an on-field athletic trainer that will be available to our football players during every practice and game throughout the football season.   This is an important safety issue that is a necessity for the sport of football.   Your participation in this fun filled evening with our Tigard community will directly help in this effort and the overall support of Tigard Football.

Players will not be held responsible for selling tickets this year so we are asking our football families to lead this effort.  We need your help!  Buy tickets, sell tickets and most importantly, spread the word!   Please forward this e-mail and order form to all who have bought tickets in years past, and anyone new who would enjoy a great meal, some good football, and helping our football kids.    This is our largest fundraiser of the year, and will directly support a very important part of the Tigard Football program.

~ Get your tickets ~ Sell some tickets ~ here's how ~

 Tickets can be ordered via the attached order form and sent to Friends of Tigard Football by August 21^st - tickets will be mailed to the address provided on the order form.  

1. Tickets can be bought and picked up at the end of practice on Tuesday and Thursday of each week.   You can also check out a group of tickets that might be pre-sold or you could sell to your workplace, friends, family, and neighbors.   Friends of Tigard Football will set up a table 30 minutes prior to the end of practice every Tuesday and Thursday of each week prior to Tigard Bowl.   We will also answer any questions personally at this time - don't be shy - bring friends!
2. Class Contacts - we will be sending you two class contacts in addition to your class rep that will help to get you the quantity of tickets you would like to purchase or sell.  We will forward the class contact list shortly.    Currently you can e-mail your class rep (who is sending you this e-mail), or call Michele Caldwell at 503-968-6830, or Debbie Abeyta at 503-939-3068.    
3. Coach Talks - If you work in Tigard, and/or work for or belong to a supportive organization and would like to have Coach Ruecker speak about Tigard Football that would represent an opportunity to sell a large block of tickets - please let us know.    Coach would welcome this opportunity, and has been very successful with this effort in years past.     This is a great way to spread the word about Tigard Football, and gain support outside of our football families.
